The family of 18-year-old David Sheehama who until Wednesday afternoon was presumed missing, say he has been found and is alive and well after last seeing him 16 days ago.
This is according to his sister Magret Afrikaner, who earlier on Wednesday took to Facebook to announce that there were still no leads on his whereabouts. She indicated that a missing person’s case was opened with the police.
At the time, Afrikaner also pleaded for anyone with any information to come forth and assist in what has been known on social media as the #FindDavid and #BringDavidHome search.
However, on Wednesday evening Afrikaner posted on her Facebook wall: “David has been located alive and well…. Thank you for the overwhelming support.”
It is not clear at this stage as to where the young David had been since September 23 and the family has not released any further information about this.
