The Windhoek Electoral Court has upheld a Monday judgment by the Electoral Tribunal to dismiss Independent Presidential Candidate Dr Panduleni Itula urgent challenge regarding the use of electronic voting machines (EVMs) without a verifiable audit paper trail in today’s Presidential and National Assembly polls.

Itula was appealing the decision in the Windhoek High Court where it was just dismissed for the second time.

Voting is expected to start at 07:00.

The appeal was heard by a three-judge panel comprising of Judge Hosea Angula, Judge Thomas Masuku and Judge Herman Oosthuizen.
